Erosion of the Family Unit

Erosion of the family unit has a lot to do with the demands of society. A husband used to be able to go out and work to financially support his family while his wife looked after the family’s other needs. Today’s high cost of living dictates that the both of them work in order to make ends meet.

This is, in my opinion, the root of all problems. But before I am branded an MCP, please allow me to elaborate a bit on what I have just said. (more…)

Trust matters most when two people love each other. Love without trust only serves to make matters worse whenever there is doubt. But why is it so difficult for people to trust the ones they profess to love? Why do people choose to doubt each other when all it ever does is corrode and destroy every fiber of the heart? Rising Transport Costs – Alternatives and Consequences

Rising transport costs have affected all countries; more so, the non oil-producing ones. And while oil commodities are speculated and traded on at stock exchanges the world over, oil prices are greatly influenced by OPEC’s frequent adjustments to oil output. A Privileged Life

A privileged life is what most of us lead here in Singapore. We live in relative safety and there’s always enough to eat. Most of us have jobs and some of us own our companies. Life in an affluent society provides for all these privileges. And even with all these benefits, a lot of us still wish we could have more money.
